Dear all,

In response to the commercial developments that are being considered for the Towcester area, the Parish Council is working towards producing a Neighbourhood Plan for the parish.

Letter of objection to DHL planning application submitted

Please find attached the letter of objection submitted by Cllr John Beasley on behalf of the Parish Council, setting out why the council objects to the DHL Planning Application.

This development will have a massive impact on our community and the environment.

Please be aware that during Wednesday 29th September, a large mechanical road sweeper will be visiting the village to sweep and clear all gutters.

This is all part of the Parish Council's ongoing work with West Northamptonshire Council to try to prevent the risk of flooding in parts of the village.

Fireworks and Bonfire evening returns!

Hi all,

Return of Fireworks and Bonfire evening!

After a two year absence, Tiffield Parish Council are pleased to announce the return of the village Fireworks and Bonfire evening.

The event will take place on Claydon Field on the evening of 6th November (with the 13th penciled in in case of bad weather).

Confirmation of uncontested election for Tiffield Parish

Please find attached a confirmation notice from West Northamptonshire Unitary Council, that the election of Councillors for Tiffield Parish Council will be uncontested and as such there will be no requirement for residents to vote in this matter.

In fact, after the elections on the 6th May, there will be a vacancy for a Councillor which the Parish Council will look to fill later in the year.

BT Openreach to erect new pole in Meadow Rise

Hi all,

You may have seen a number of BT Outreach vans in the village over the past few days.

Their staff are currently working to install new fibre optic cables throughout the village which we are told, should provide a bandwidth of 300 gigabytes.

To achieve this, BT intend to erect a new telegraph pole in Meadow Rise at the entrance to the footpath that runs through to the fields at the back.
