Please find attached a confirmation notice from West Northamptonshire Unitary Council, that the election of Councillors for Tiffield Parish Council will be uncontested and as such there will be no requirement for residents to vote in this matter.
In fact, after the elections on the 6th May, there will be a vacancy for a Councillor which the Parish Council will look to fill later in the year.

It was with great sadness that today, we heard the announcement of the death of The Duke of Edinburg Prince Philip after many decades of devoted service to the nation. He was a much-loved member of our monarchy and will be sorely missed.

You may have seen a number of BT Outreach vans in the village over the past few days.
Their staff are currently working to install new fibre optic cables throughout the village which we are told, should provide a bandwidth of 300 gigabytes.
To achieve this, BT intend to erect a new telegraph pole in Meadow Rise at the entrance to the footpath that runs through to the fields at the back.
